Our way

We use sustainable and trustworthy materials in all steps of from rearing to production. Our methods are based on well being of insects.

Raw materials:
• Raw materials are chosen based on nutritional composition and expected effects on insects (speed of growth, weight gain, feed conversion ratio, amino acid profile, fatty acid profile). Partners for providing materials are chosen after ensuring the origin and the ability to control the traceability of raw produce. To maintain sustainability we use by-products from local food and agriculture businesses (crops, vegetables). Only raw materials that are eligible as feed for farmed animals are sourced. They are obtained from registered or approved feed business operators to ensure that materials are safe and meet hygienic requirements.
